LiveWell by Zurich (LiveWell) partners with Beyond Sport to bring accessible wellness resources to young people in the United States
LiveWell is proud to announce that they are joining Head In The Game, a Beyond Sport program powered by the Z Zurich Foundation in collaboration with Zurich North America. The program is designed to help provide targeted health and well-being resources for young people who have less access to them and the coaches and caregivers who support them.
Head In The Game is a groundbreaking initiative focused on youth mental health in the United States. This multi-year program is on a mission to support 13- to 19-year-olds, particularly those from underserved communities, with the tools they need to thrive. By harnessing the power of sports at community, collegiate and professional levels, Head In The Game creates a safe and inclusive space for young people to open up, learn, and grow. The program is tackling mental well-being inequities head-on, with a special focus on youth of color, LGBTQ+ youth, and girls. LiveWell is excited to team up with Beyond Sport and contribute its expertise to this transformative cause, helping to ensure that every young person has access to the resources they need to flourish.
LiveWell and Beyond Sport share a core belief in the importance of equitable access to resources in the pursuit of better health and well-being. The LiveWell app is designed to put the power of health and well-being in people’s pockets, providing them with the means to take control of their health journeys. Beyond Sport employs a unique, holistic approach, leveraging a global network of sport for social change innovators, progressive organizations, and expertise built up over nearly two decades. LiveWell is proud to join that network.
Fred Turner, Executive Director of Beyond Sport, said: “With youth mental health at crisis levels, we felt it was important to create a safe space for young people and those who support them to learn, share and realize that they are not alone. Beyond Sport’s collaboration with Z Zurich Foundation and partners like LiveWell allow us to increase access to timely resources and foster open conversations on mental well-being.”

LiveWell is available to all coaches, caregivers, and participating members of Head in the Game over the age of 18. Beyond Sport and LiveWell will continue to work together to positively impact hundreds of thousands of young people across the United States through the Head in the Game program.
