Athletes World Foundation (AWF) addresses the worldwide issue of Dual Career Pathways by providing sport scholarships for athletes, enabling them to continue their Education through Sport. The IOC athlete career program has provided career development training to over 10,000 athletes with only 998 job placements which reflects the real issue in lack of higher education among athletes. AWF aligns with International & National Sport Federations to integrate sport development & higher education into a sponsored program to help athletes.
AWF assists athletes with qualifying academic backgrounds & a desire to continue higher education in providing them with access to free higher education through the practice of sport. Our experienced team has developed a proven dual career pathway that allows athletes to continue education & sport. This provides flexibility for athletes to maximise their opportunity to become professional & eventually make a smooth transition into the labour market.
