WHY ATTEND BEYOND SPORT SUMMIT & AWARDS 2016

We are living in one of the most dynamic and transformative times in history, yet this generation is faced with a range of complex issues and uncertainties. At the Beyond Sport Summit we are seeking modern day solutions to combat these modern day challenges.

Each year the Beyond Sport Summit & Awards sees over 1,000 high level influencers, representing the most impactful global organisations attend the Summit and Awards. Last year, we saw an audience of over 40% corporates in attendance, with over 79% of attendees being in leadership or decision making positions, allowing for strong, global networking and development of partnership opportunities.

The gathering provides a unique networking opportunity with a variety of individuals and organisations that are making a difference in their communities. Not only that but it provides the opportunity to profile the sectors efforts and successes in front of this truly global audience. With speakers from last year including the likes of; World Rugby CEO, Brett Gosper; Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama; 1995 Rugby World Cup Winning Captain, Francois Pienaar and Lord Ashdown, the President of UNICEF UK.

This global group provides the perfect opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas on how to drive social change with influential innovators; each as excited as the next to share their stories, experiences and strategies with those who are as equally passionate about making the world a better place through the use of sport.

This year at the Beyond Sport Summit we will be looking at how organisations are going #BeyondInnovation to harness technological advancements to create further social change through the use of sport in all areas of the world and with the debut of the interactive Innovation Hub on the third day of the Summit, attendees will have the opportunity to engage across a variety of different Zones, each providing stimulating and exciting sessions on sport, technology and social cause, interspersed with industry experts hosting inspirational talks and debates at the center of the Hub.

And finally, on the evening of day 2 of the Summit attendees will be taken on a journey of inspiration as we crown the inspirational Beyond Sport Award Winners. Chosen from over 350 entries, in front of an audience that includes some of sports most recognizable names on a stage graced in the past by the likes of Muhammad Ali, David Beckham and Francois Pienaar, this evening of celebration will showcase the best from the world of sport for social.
