The Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series is a racing circuit featuring the best sailors in the world, competing on foiling, wing-sailed 45ft catamarans.

Today, the 35th America’s Cup arrives into Portsmouth, the new home to Sir Ben Ainslie’s Land Rover BAR team and its Sustainability Partner 11th Hour Racing.  The team are supported by BT 100% Sport and committed to becoming the most sustainable sports team they can be as well as mounting a challenge for the biggest prize in world sailing.  Launched in September 2015 with Sir Ben, 100% Sport, believes in the power of sport to build a better world.

To mark the launch of www.100percentsport.org and promote the #go100percent campaign, BT is offering four people the chance to win an incredible sailing experience with the Land Rover BAR team at their state of the art HQ in Portsmouth. The winner plus three guests will receive a tour of the cutting-edge facility on a date to be agreed between the winner and Land Rover BAR (not later than 30 September 2016). Plus the chance to meet members of the team and have an on-the-water rib ride experience. Lunch will also be provided along with Land Rover BAR team kit signed by Sir Ben himself.

To enter the draw all you need to do is post on Twitter or Facebook using #go100percent explaining in 140 characters what actions you have recently undertaken to make the world more sustainable. It could be as simple as being more energy efficient by turning off excess lights or increasing your recycling or a larger commitment such as switching to renewable energy.

The Land Rover BAR team will be competing in the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series, the first stage of competition in the 35th America’s Cup, which began in the summer of 2015 and will culminate in the America’s Cup (Finals) in 2017 in Bermuda.  This stage takes place in  the water off the incredible Southsea Common in Portsmouth and is easily accessible by train with plenty of parking facilities.  Go to www.100percentsport.org for event footage and to find out how you can get inspired.
