This project makes sporting success look attainable by showcasing local model champion athletes, and look attractive and rewarding by hosting big sports events in order to motivate youths to participate in sports and , in turn, divert them away from drug abuse and juvenile delinquency.
This specific social issue was chosen because of its great importance. This is about using sport to save young lives that could have been lost due to drug addiction or punishment of a crime. This is about protecting the youth from the evils of illegal drugs that they may be ready to chart a brighter future. The program is not merely meant to bask in the glory of feel-good results of winning games to help boost the community's morale; it is primarily meant to prepare the youth for nation-building.
