Culture, Community and Play Come Together at Cairns EDOR Carnival

The 2026 Cairns NAIDOC EDOR Carnival welcomed 22 teams and more than 200 participants, bringing a Traditional Indigenous Game from Northern Queensland into a celebration of culture, movement and youth development. Supported through Futures in Motion, the event reflects Aspire Community’s commitment to locally led programming shaped by the needs, knowledge and strengths of the people it serves.

Rick Hansen Foundation & Canadian Paralympic Committee Advance Accessibility in Sport 

The Rick Hansen Foundation and the Canadian Paralympic Committee have announced a partnership aimed at advancing accessibility and disability inclusion across sport in Canada and beyond. Running through 2032, the collaboration will combine accessibility expertise with insights from the Paralymic sport system to support education, research, venue assessments and advocacy. From improving sporting facilities to shaping accessibility planning for major events, the partnership seeks to remove barriers and create more inclusive experiences for athletes, coaches, volunteers and fans.

BIGKID’s Youth Take on UA Next at Battersea

Young people from BIGKID Foundation visited Under Armour’s Next facility at Battersea Power Station for a day of physical challenges, specialized equipment and shared encouragement. Part of Beyond Sport and Under Armour’s wider retail donation campaign, the activation gave participants access to a high-performance environment while celebrating the confidence, community and support BIGKID builds every day.
