Open communication and collaboration, inclusive of a diverse array of voices, contexts and ideas, are vital to strengthening our sector’s impact. We created this platform as a home for organizations who share a vision of using sport to drive opportunity, equity and community.
The Community offers members the opportunity to be represented on a growing global directory of sport for social change organizations AND provides curated learning and organizational resources – in one place – to better enable collective action and capacity building.

Gain access to valuable insights, development opportunities and a network of sport for social change experts across a broad range of social issues and disciplines.
Members have free access to:
- Global community directory: encompassing social impact organizations who are addressing a wide range of topics through varied approaches. The Directory is searchable by issue area, location, sport and type of organization. You can even request an introduction to other members!
- Publicize your work: register your organization on the Directory to promote it to our global network and make connections to enhance your programs and partnerships.
- Sector resources: explore topics to build your knowledge and capacity and maximize your impact, as well as trainings supporting individual and organizational growth across a range of sport for development areas.
- Due diligence guidance: on traditional grant requirements as well as best practice guides on developing fundamental organizational policies including safeguarding, theories of change, exploitation and discrimination prevention and more.
- Beyond Sport opportunities: as they become available.
COMMUNITY CRITERIA
- Registering organizations must be aligned with the intentional use of sport or physical activity to advance social change and sustainable development.
- Registrations can come from organizations located anywhere in the world, addressing any social issue and using any sport or activity as a social impact tool.
- This portal is specifically designed for nonprofit and mission-driven community organizations including, but not limited to: nonprofit, charity, NGO, social enterprise, foundation, public sector body, unregistered organization or academic institutes. As such, it is not open to corporate entities, including corporate social responsibility (CSR) departments, corporate foundations, marketing teams working on CSR efforts and other business initiatives solely focused on profit.
- Each organization must have only one “Admin” but as many team members can join an organization’s account as desired. Please, therefore, only create one account for the same organization. If you have regional branches and would like them separated, please include location in your organization title and assign a different Admin. Registrations should be completed in full in one session.
- Members must adhere to the Community Guidelines.
