Held during the height of the COVID pandemic, the 2020 Beyond Sport Global Awards took on special significance. For our 12th annual edition, we were honored to celebrate and uplift incredible organizations doing life-changing work in the face of adversity.
From September through December, the public was invited to ‘Take the Journey” – around the world and across Beyond Sport’s platforms – to uncover how the 16 amazing shortlisted organizations were using sport in pursuit of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development (SDGs).
Through video, picture and words, viewers immersed themselves in a celebration of the human spirit and determination to create a better world for all.
