Xiaomi launches public campaign to support Beyond Sport Foundation

The Beyond Sport Foundation is excited to announce that innovative electronics giant, Xiaomi, has chosen the Foundation as the beneficiary of its #RaiseTheCup campaign. As millions of fans around the world train their eyes on Russia to see which of the 32 national football teams becomes the one to raise the victory trophy, we’ll be keeping our eyes on you!

From June 14 to July 15, 2018 Xiaomi will donate $0.25 (up to $150,000) for every photo or video shared to Twitter and Instagram using these simple guidelines:

1. Take a picture or video of yourself raising a cup (or something else, be creative!)

2. Post it to Instagram or Twitter using the hashtags #RaiseTheCup and #Xiaomi

3. Tag 3 friends

4. Your account must be set to public for your post to be seen and counted. Xiaomi representatives will be tallying the posts daily*.

Some description

POST, TAG, SUPPORT - THAT'S IT!

The more posts you make, the larger the donation Xiaomi makes to the Beyond Sport Foundation.  The funds will help us continue to celebrate, support and raise awareness and funds for organizations around the world that are using sport to help make the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) a reality. Covering health and well-being, peace and social justice, education and employment, partnership and collaboration, and innovation and tech, Foundation grantees represent the best in class of organizations using sport to create positive social change.

Over the last decade, we have supported 200+ organizations worldwide, providing $1.5M+ in funds, and distributing $7 million+ in long-term strategic support through Beyond Sport's world renowned Global Awards. And, this year, nearly 400 organizations have applied for support – the most in our history. The group of projects submitted encompass over 100 countries, six continents, and 40 different sports!
