Join the conversation on fundraising trends, partnerships and what sustainable income looks like in the year ahead.
After several years marked by economic uncertainty, shifting funder priorities and increased competition for limited resources, fundraisers across the sport for good sector are entering 2026 with more questions than clear answers. What’s working, what needs to change and how organizations can build sustainable income in a crowded landscape will be explored at the Sport Fundraising Summit, returning to London on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
Hosted by trusted fundraising strategy consultancy Remedy at Bounce Farringdon, the Summit will gather fundraisers, grant-makers and donors working across sport for social impact for a day of learning, connection and practical insights. Following an inaugural edition in 2025, this year’s program expands the conversation. Session topics include fundraising trends and challenges, artificial intelligence in grantmaking, the role of storytelling and data, and best practices for fundraising strategies and using digital tools like AI.
Beyond Sport will bring its perspective to two conversations at the Summit.
The day opens with Fundraising in 2026, a panel addressing findings from the latest State of Fundraising in Sport for Good benchmark report. Fred Fikouhi-Turner, Executive Director at Beyond Sport, will join fellow leaders to reflect on where the sector finds itself after several turbulent years. The discussion will take an honest look at the realities organizations are navigating, from tighter grant timelines to evolving corporate partnerships, while also exploring where new opportunities may be emerging as fundraisers plan for the year ahead. Fred will be joined by Theren (TJ) Bullock Jr, Head of Foundation at FIBA Foundation and Zenna Hopson, Chief Executive at Dallaglio RugbyWorks.
Later in the program, the focus shifts from sector-wide trends to partnership in practice. Beyond Sport Senior Programs Manager Tarryn Horner will join Paola Bethmage, Global Grants Manager at New Balance Foundation, for a fireside chat examining how long-term, values-aligned collaboration is built and sustained. Drawing on the evolution of the partnership between Beyond Sport and the Foundation on the Sport Together Fund and Futures in Motion, the conversation will explore co-creation, shared measurement, navigating challenges and balancing priorities. Tarryn and Paola will also reflect on how the partnership has supported employee education and engagement across New Balance’s global teams.
For fundraisers, program leaders and partners working in sport for social impact, the Sport Fundraising Summit offers a chance to step back, compare notes and engage in conversations that feel grounded in lived experience rather than theory. We hope to see you there!
