We were happy to recently welcome Maggie Munoff and Winky Law to our Content & Communications team. Each brings deep experience in purpose-driven communications and a shared belief in the power of sport to build belonging across communities and cultures. We asked each to reflect on what sport for development mean to them.
Maggie Munoff – Manager, Digital Content
“Sport continues to be a throughline in my life — a place where I learn, speak up and feel part of something bigger. It shapes my confidence, fuels my curiosity and keeps me rooted in community. I’ve seen how it forges connections and opens doors, and I believe everyone deserves the chance to find their place within it.”
Based in New York City, Maggie will lead our storytelling and content strategy, shaping how we share impact and elevate community voices across platforms. She brings extensive experience in nonprofit communications, creative production and audience-centered narrative development.
Before joining Beyond Sport, Maggie led marketing and communications at Laureus Sport for Good USA, overseeing the organization’s multimedia storytelling, digital campaigns, events and partnerships. Her earlier work at GallopNYC deepened her commitment to disability equity and access in sport, and she also spent a decade in professional film and television production, including on-set work for HBO’s Boardwalk Empire.
Winky Law – Manager, Marketing
“Sport is for everyone. It opens doors to different cultures and gives us a shared language in a world that often feels divided. It has taught me important life skills and kept me courageous and curious when challenges hit. It builds muscle and resilience, and importantly, world peace. No matter your level of involvement or your role, once you step in, there is a place for you!”
Winky, based in London, will lead marketing strategy and creative campaigns, focused on uplifting the Beyond Sport community through visibility, curiosity and inclusive storytelling. Her background spans partnership activations, advocacy and equity-centered creative work, and she champions the belief that profit and purpose can move in parallel.
She has supported marketing and communications for the Reproductive Rights Activists Collective in the United Kingdom and Women in Sports Empowered in Hong Kong, bringing a justice-driven lens to her work. With experience at the intersection of creativity, business and social impact, Winky has seen firsthand how sport fosters resilience and connection in challenging times.
Together, Maggie and Winky bring creativity, insight and a shared commitment to advancing Beyond Sport’s mission — helping grow a more inclusive, connected and impactful global sport for social change movement.
