From June 3 –5, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is hosting its inaugural Olympism365 Summit in Lausanne, Switzerland. Over the three days, 250+ representatives from 100 organizations – and many more online – will come together to showcase and celebrate the collective impact of sport and community initiatives in advancing sustainable development through sport.
All plenary sessions will be livestreamed June 4–5. You can watch the IOC Media YouTube channel to follow the conversations.
This landmark event marks the first summit organized under the IOC’s Olympism365 strategy, a long-term commitment to strengthening sport’s role in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Summit will include representatives from across the Olympic Movement, United Nations agencies, public development banks, civil society, academia, for-purpose businesses, safe sport experts and IOC Young Leaders.
Beyond Sport is proud to attend alongside our Olympism365 (O365) Innovation Hub program partners. The O365 Innovation Hub, a collaboration between the IOC, Beyond Sport and Women Win, is advancing new ideas and technologies to maximize sport’s impact. To date, the program has supported 61 Innovators reaching nearly 124,000 participants in 184 communities across 33 countries. We’re excited to be joined by four of these innovators in Lausanne including:

We’re also excited to debut O365 Innovation Hub AI avatar “NOVA” at the Summit. Going forward, NOVA will serve as the guide to the Innovation Hub’s Knowledge Exchange platform, a digital curated home for global innovators dedicated to using sport as a catalyst for social change. The platform is designed to share knowledge, spark inspiration and spotlight innovation in sport for sustainable development. Subscribe here to stay connected and be the first to hear about new Knowledge Exchange resources and tools and interact with NOVA.
Building on momentum from the 2024 Sport for Sustainable Development Summit, held on the eve of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, the Olympism365 Summit will serve as a catalyst for deepening collaboration, mobilizing co-investment and launching joint action. Sessions will explore how to scale the impact of sport across policy, community and institutional levels—strengthening its role in building healthier, more equitable and sustainable societies.
Key themes that will be explored include:
- Innovative financing, impact measurement and capacity-building to strengthen sport for development initiatives, with a focus on launching Safe Sport tools and resources.
- Strategies to enhance cross-sector partnerships, including governments, sport organizations and for-purpose businesses.
- Insights from leading global academics and practitioners to strengthen the role of sport in driving positive change today and into the future.
For the Olympism365 Innovation Hub, the Summit provides an opportunity not only to share what’s working, but also to inspire bold, collective action for what’s next.
