US Sports Camps (USSC), the country’s largest provider of all-girl sports camps and licensed provider of Nike Sports Camps, has launched a Girls are the Future of Sports campaign. The initiative celebrates girl and women athletes, coaching excellence and the love of the game to amplifying female voices and inspire the next generation. It kicked off February 5 on National Girls and Women in Sports Day and will run through March 31.

As USSC marks its 50th anniversary, the campaign highlights the transformative power of sports for young women, promoting confidence, leadership and personal growth. With over 600 all-girl camps available, it continues to offer girl and women athletes expert coaching, a supportive environment and opportunities for growth at all skill levels. The camps cover a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, and provide an environment where fun and development go hand-in-hand.

A key feature of the campaign is its “Interview Spotlight Series,” which will showcase inspiring interviews with women camp directors, coaches and industry leaders. Notable figures like Siera Love, COO of USSC and Ashley Preston, Head Volleyball Coach at the University of New Orleans, will share how sports have shaped their careers and personal lives. These interviews aim to inspire young athletes by offering valuable insights and advice from women who have succeeded in sports.

Retired U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist and three-time track and field Olympian, ‘The Shot Diva’ Michelle Carter, serves as the campaign’s ambassador. Carter, also the founder of the You Throw Girl Sports Confidence Camp, is passionate about empowering young female athletes to embrace their inner strength and reach their full potential. “This initiative is more than celebrating athletes; it’s about empowering girls to believe in themselves. Through sports, they gain valuable skills, confidence, leadership and the mindset of a champion. I’m proud to be part of this movement,” she said.

Girls are the Future of Sports launched on Wednesday with a series of videos and social media posts celebrating the impact of women in sports. US Sports Camps will share powerful stories and spotlight female athletes, coaches and leaders who have made significant contributions across all levels of sports.

“We believe girls are key to the future of sports and proudly support them with the resources they need to grow their love of sport and succeed,” said Love. “I’ve seen how sports can transform lives, opening doors for girls and building leadership skills and confidence that have been vital to my own success.”
