More about Compartir Jugando, Diversificación Deportiva
District IV of Soacha known as Altos de Cazuca is one of the most dangerous and neglected sectors bordering Colombia’s capital, Bogota. An estimated 70.000 people live there. Cazuca is the neighbourhood that receives the most number of displaced people due to the armed conflict, hosting around 17.000. Drug addiction and poverty are rampant. Our project seeks to end with these through the healthy use of free time and peace building, fostering positive leadership and an integral attention to the human being. Implementing athletics, football, volleyball, cheerleading and basketball through our unique Methodology of Cohabitation, we establish an intervention strategy in the community and its people, we offer healthy free time activities, leadership opportunities and citizen competencies to develop their surrounding. We believe the values of fair play, inclusion and respect are just as important as sporting prowess.
