2016 saw GoodGym – a running community that helps you get fit by doing good – awarded the Community Programme of the Year title, with BMX Legacy Programme, Access Sport, taking home the prestigious trophy in 2015.

Entries remain open until 7th December 2016, with supporting material required by 14th December.

The new line-up of categories sees criteria expanded to become more inclusive of the world-leading work that the UK industry produces both at home and overseas.

The BT Sport Industry Awards, taking place on 27th April 2017, is the most prestigious commercial sports awards in Europe and the industry’s flagship event. The event is attended by 1,750 high profile guests from the British and international sport industry, including business leaders, celebrities, sporting legends and media.

The BT Sport Industry Awards judging process is one of the most transparent and stringent procedures of its kind with over 60 hours of intensive judging. Conducted in two stages and all overseen by EY, the process begins with the entries being reviewed and judged by the Official Steering Committee, featuring figureheads and industry heavyweights, to produce the Official Shortlist.

The BT Sport Industry Awards Judging Panel will then decide the final winner of each category announced at the BT Sport Industry Awards 2016 - the most prestigious commercial sports awards in Europe. To find out more about the extensive judging process, click here.

BT Sport is the headline partner of the BT Sport Industry Awards. Coutts, ESPN and EY continue as official partners. For more information on the event visit www.sportindustry.biz/awards, and follow @SportIndustry #BTSIA.
